okay here's my first post. of the month. : / pathetic yea?

Well just now I was watching Blake play Davydenko LIVE for the very first time because for the past few days the brilliant ESPN has decided that EPL matches are more important that the SEASON-ENDING SHANGHAI MASTERS CUP. But then again, I got to watch it the following day, in the afternoon, & I didn't have to sleep late. So anyway back to Blake-Davydenko match, I'm not going to talk about the matchplay in particular, but instead I'm going to talk about something else which might seem totally irrelevant to you.
Okay here it is. Blake's American, & Davydenko's Russian (although he was actually born in Ukraine & was a Ukrainian till he was 18). Are there any sirens ringing in your head? No? Well then I'll help you along with two words. COLD WAR. If you still don't get it, uhh never mind.
So basically I couldn't imagine that Americans & Russians can challenge each other in elite sporting competitions without any political crap intefering, be it through propaganda or other means.
Simply put, WHAT HAS THE WORLD COME TO? A Russian Communist (Davydenko) playing an American Capitalist (Blake) on Chinese soil in front of Communist China Chinese spectators (Shanghai)? This is so not happening.
If Lenin or Mao Ze Dong were still alive today, they'd take a page out of Hitler's book & just kill themselves asap. But now that they're dead, the next best thing that they could do would be roll around in their graves. Frightening stuff huh.
Anyway I'll stop fantasizing about communists & capilitalists fighting for world domination.
Oh yes I won't forget to mention how FUN su's party was! haha.
