-movie review for "Racing Stripes"-
hey guys this is a movie review on racing stripes which i completed partially a month ago, so i've just put the finshing touches on it and ... tralala here it is!!! =p
this was the movie i unfortunately had to watch... instead of constantine cos there weren't any tickets left... and "Aviator, The" or "AviatorcommaspaceThe" was too long... and... believe it or not... i still haven't watched Constantine yet... *sniff*... and EVERYONE and i mean everyone has watched it alredi...so there's nobody left to watch it with...
Racing Stripes
This is a simplistic story with a plot that is as predictable as last year's formula one racing and with a script that i could have written in my sleep...!!! you could have told from the funny posters (where the zebra looked quite retarded) and the rating (GA: General Audience)... the use of "big" names to try to cosmetically touch up it's appearance...
Example number 1: this is the lamest example... SNOOP DOG
-he is a sleepy dog in the movie who gives like in two occasions says one word and has one scene where he actually is given a sentence to recite! WOW! other than that he is basically non-existent in the movie and his character, a sleepy doofus-looking dog is more of a prop than an extra... haha
Example number 2: the big names in this movie don't even live up to the "hype" if there was any in the 1st place, they're just there on the poster. but other than that the audience can't reli fathom any link between the names and the characters. hmm... That's maybe because big names don't mean big voices? ok.

This is a movie about a zebra who gets raised as a horse on this farm. Grows up thinking he is a horse. Get's inspired by the race horses he sees next door. Dreams of becoming a race horse. But becomes as depressed as an
ex-boyfriend when he later finds out his true
genera. some main plots/themes in this movie:-
-guy meets gal
-passion for racing
-"what's in the past is in the past, get over it" (my fav)
-"when there's a will there's a way"
-even a zebra can beat a race horse in racing
=hence the new word
race zebra =p
-good triumphs over evil
blah blah blah
and ohh yea the funniest character is that mafia seagull who uses lines from the godfather movies.
this is a movie for the families and the lil kids. so not being a lil kid, i'll give it
2 out of 5 bites.

-What is the purpose of a blog?-
i had my language arts paper on friday and um... let's put it this way... i didn't do it as well as i could have... and i think i did quite ok for it
don't wanna talk about the exams anymore!...
even though i have like ... 7 more papers? :
back to what is the purpose of a blogis the blog supposed to be a medium for you to express your feelings?are you supposed to blog how your day went?are you supposed to blog what you feel?are you supposed to blog anything special?or are you just supposed to type crap?ok this isn't what was initially intended by me but since my brain has fizzed out i'm just typing out what's on my mindok then so i guess that a blog is just something which you have and that nobody reads.
