This just about sums things up.

Outbox > Inbox...
& the clock is ticking.

and the second hand sprints across the dial.
and i'm left in it's wake.
eating dust.

I know I haven't been blogging, but I've really been short on time. Anyway, I'm just going to upload some photos I took with my phone camera. Hope these summarise the events of the past few days sufficiently. Haha.

My friend's water bottle...
"Make living a more fascinating than a day." Wow. How about "I think you need English lessons ASAP"...

We ALWAYS see that at farrer park.

Sweet yellow kiwis. Amazing huh. Thank genetic engineering. haha.

This wedding car looks more like a monster which needs a shave desperately!

The priceless view I had when I went to watch "Dead Man's Chest". People pay through the nose for front row seats you know. Right. Not in the cinemas.

Julian lost in translation. Isn't he happy. HAHA.

I hate to say this, but I have to admit. MY BLOG IS DEAD. The only person visiting it is ME. How nice is that huh... Well anyway for the benefit of anyone who might still be visiting this site, I will upload some pictures (eye-candy) to try to REVIVE this blog.

Youth Day Celebrations (Soccer @ the new campus pitch of artificial grass)

Those are the Year 5 hotshots sitting together at the bottom of the picture...

Old Campus.

New Campus. Isn't it nice and NEW. and BIG.

Lecture Theatre (LT) @ the New Campus.

Ditto.

The ceiling of my classroom. Cool huh.

I mean look at all the cool stuff you're missing out on! Heh. (These pictures are meant to get more people to join my school's IB programme.)

So what are you waiting for? GO JOIN THE IB PROGRAMME TODAY. Hahaha.

Just as one embassador of sport established himself among the legends, another, already a legend, bowed out of the game on a sour note. Yes I'm refering to Roger Federer & Zinedine Zidane respectively.
Roger Federer beat Nadal in 4 sets to show him who's boss on grass, preventing Nadal's head from growing any bigger than it already is, winning his fourth consecutive Wimbledon title - one more Wimby title next year and he'll be in a league of his own. However, Zinedine Zidane, the ex-Cannes, ex-Juve, ex-Real player and ex-France national left the pitch in the 2nd period of extra time for an early shower, and an early end to his career - a few minutes premature in fact. The sight of him headbutting Materazzi like a raging bull who just caught sight of a red cape, that I will never forget. But what I will forget is that the French reached the finals of this World Cup. 20 years down the road when this blog will probably be dead, I'll remember an Italian triumph in the world cup in 2006. I'll probably forget the venue as well. But my point is, the losers are never remembered, only the victors have their names engraved on the trophy and with a piece of history that cannot be robbed from them. So what if the French reached the finals? They didn't win it. They got so far to lose it all, and in the end it doesn't even matter. Sounds familiar eh? That's because I just lifted that out of Linkin Park's "In the End".
Before I end this short post devoid of photos or gossip, I would like to say a few things.
1. Materazzi should have been man of the match because he scored the equalizer, a penalty and managed to ruffle Zidane (not an easy thing to do mind you).
2. Italy deserved to win the world cup.
3. Fabio Cannavaro should have been voted as the player of the tournament.
4. Lippi undoubtedly was the best manager of the tournament.
5. Graham Poll was officially the worst ref EVER. (3 yellow cards...)
6.Federer deserved to beat Nadal and should beat him everytime. I mean what would that tell kids if Nadal kept on winning? Federer's positive tennis would give a positive influence on kids.

Thanks.

This blog isn't dead yet - I hope.
Well anyway in a nutshell, my days at school have been very ordinary. With the exception of a week WASTED because of a certain "IB Symposium" which was very poorly organized and executed, I've been making pretty good use of my time.
Although one week of my life has been wasted by the pathetic "Symposium" (if you can even call it that), I'm looking forward to tonight's Wimbledon Men's Singles Final with Nadal & Federer (who's so going to own Nadal just because it's on GRASS), and the World Cup finals in the early hours of the morning. In fact, my school has ENCOURAGED us to stay up and watch the Italy vs. France final not because Dr.ong is an avid fan of soccer, but because... everyone is doing so. Even the school's "polar opposite" shifted their youth day holiday to tomorrow in conjuction with the World Cup final so that their students could have a day's rest to avoid "World Cup Hangover" from affecting their performance at school (very important to them).
So we have school from 1 to 6pm on monday instead of 8am to 2.40pm. They should have given us a HOLIDAY for goodness sake. Monday is a SLACK day for all classes, so why not give us a chance to recharge the batteries? NO. They'd rather make us attend school, still half-dazed just to waste the time away.

Anyway here are some photos of interest:

"Self-hug" by Bjorkman. Well he certainly needed one after getting thrashed by Federer in 77mins, so why not a hug from himself?

Check out the "Rooftop Tennis" video featuring Ivanovic & Hantuchova! I can't download it though, sadly.

Federer with Totti. Well they'll both be in action later in the day (Federer -> Wimbledon, Totti -> World Cup Finals). Let's hope BOTH of them win.

STAMP duty. ouch.

He ain't back. He's WACK. (:
