GERMANY VS. COSTA RICA
Quick update on the opening match.
-It was boring.
-Although there were 3 goals scored within the first 16 mins.
-Record number of goals scored in an opening match of World Cup.
-Man of the Match: LAHM
-Goal of the Match: Frings' goal from outside of the box
VERDICT: Germany looked lacklustre in defence, they'll have to play much better than this to reah semifinals or even finals of World Cup. But then again the same thing happened in 2002. They played like crap in the group stages with a crappy team but still managed to reach the finals.

Summary of Match:

Lahm opens the scoring

But Wanchope had other ideas.

Then came along a certain Miroslav Klose to spoil the party by slamming
two in the net.
