Continuation of debate on soccer predictionsFinally the guys at The Straits
Times are being more level-headed and are now sticking to tipping which teams "will make an impact" at the World Cup. This is a huge improvement from the "predictions" (if you can them that) offered earlier, needless to say. Cheers to Rob Hughes who acknowldeges that he is as hopeless as anyone else when it comes to predictions, stating that when he attempted to name the finalists, he chose France and Argentina. And we all know how both of these teams, going in as hot favourites due to their form before the tournament in the case of Argentina, and the fact that they were defending champs in the case of France performed at the 2002 World Cup. They were knocked out in the first round by minnows. Well not so for Argentina who were in the group of death as they are in this tournament, but France had one of the easiest groups (except for England who ALWAYS gets the easiest group... BLOODY BRITS). France losing to Senegal in the opening match. Who would have imagined that? As they say, the ball is round, anything can happen, especially over 90 minutes, injury time, and stoppage time. Referees, linesman, blah, blah, blah. You get the picture. Oh yes and anyway if you haven't signed up for the World Cup package GO GET IT! (Unless of course you don't mind watching it on Channel 5.)
The post.
Ryan Keong's back, and he means business man. His tennis has improved quite a bit from last time. His groundstrokes are more consistent, and to top it off he's fitter and faster. Wow. Anyway Vaidisova LOST after having the match in her hands! Omg. That's horrible. :(

Vaidisova during happier times...
